Getting a Malaysian Driving Licence — JPJ Guide

JPJ (Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan) issues all Malaysian driving licences. Foreign nationals with a valid foreign licence may apply to convert to a Malaysian licence subject to country-of-origin reciprocity rules. Local applicants progress through KPP01 theory test, JPJ Test L (learner) and Test P (probationary). Fees, theory test centres and the conversion list of approved foreign licence countries are published on jpj.gov.my.
